2021 was a big year for CloudShift and as we kickstart 2022 let’s take a moment to look back at some of the highlights and updates from the past 12 months. From major milestones to inspiring events, it’s great to reflect on the growth and progress we have made with our partners and friends in the Salesforce ecosystem to help set us up for the year ahead.
CloudShift Joins The Globant Family
We announced a huge new chapter in our journey back in March when we joined the Globant family, a worldwide leader in digital and cognitive transformations. Together this creates a global Salesforce studio of over 1,000 Trailblazers with a wide range of experience and expertise to deliver even greater transformations for our Customers during their digital journey.
As part of the Globant family, there were so many exciting announcements last year. From Globant’s £65m investment into the UK, which will quadruple the UK team and deliver a new London HQ and new Sustainability Hub, to their acquisition of Navint to broaden our CPQ, CLM, Billing and ERP expertise, 2022 is set to bring great things! Globant’s knowledge and power to drive digital transformations for organisations across the world is truly inspiring and their latest edition of Converge was a celebration of the power of reinvention and the future of tech. CloudShift Summits and In-person Events
Our flagship summits in partnership with our friends at Salesforce, Tableau and MuleSoft took place again in 2021 with our Property Summit celebrating it’s 6th year! Our summits also covered High Tech, Security and Manufacturing, plus we had a fantastic Tableau for Salesforce Customers Webinar to help people see and understand data with the stunning visual analytics platform. As always our events included discussions around industry POVs and trends, Customers sharing their digital transformation stories, the latest Salesforce innovations and how you can maximise ROI and success with your Salesforce solutions.
We were also delighted to get back to in-person events, being a headline sponsor and speaker at Salesforce Innovation Day London in December where our session ‘The Power of Reinvention’ focused on diving greater customer experiences (CX) and employee experiences (EX) using Salesforce.

Sharing the latest and greatest updates across all the Salesforce platforms always creates a buzz. From Dreamforce and the Tableau Conference to Slack Frontiers and MuleSoft Connect, we kept you up to date with the new and upcoming features and trends that will help you as part of your digital transformation.

Customer Success Stories
A top success story that was launched late in 2021 focused around our Customer Edwardian Hotels. Hearing their journey as a trailblazer and how they have incorporated Salesforce to enrich and transform their host and guest experience was a true highlight. If you haven’t already, watch this Edwardian video as they express how Salesforce has enabled them to anticipate their guests’ needs so they can provide a more personalised, luxury experience as they launch their latest hotel. It is great to hear about our Customer’s experience and the transformative journey they have been on is hugely inspiring and can provide some great insight into the process. We also heard from longstanding CloudShift Customer CALA Homes at Salesforce Innovate Together back in the spring, when they to shared some of the benefits they’ve experienced from their Salesforce enhancements.
We are a .Org Registered Partner
As one of the UK leading Salesforce partners we have helped countless Customers, across various industries, design and implement their Salesforce solution but this year we broadened our offering and were delighted to become a Salesforce.org registered partner. Supporting Non-profits, educational institutions, and philanthropic organisations maximise their social impact by leveraging the power of CRM technology, this was a very exciting update in 2021 and we look forward to continuing to work with change makers in the year ahead.
Our commitment to Pledge 1% and Globant’s Be Kind ethos continues and throughout 2021 we challenged our team to get involved and help some amazing charities. Some of the top initiatives in 2021 included turning miles into money with our Space race alongside our friends at Salesforce collectively raising £46,000, the brave Shifties that took on the London Marathon raising over £6,000 and hosting our very own comedy evening that brought in donations of over £16,500, all in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. We even got a chance to head down to one of their hospices and help with some essential upkeep of their garden areas. We are delighted to support the essential work of some amazing charities and will be continuing to give back whenever we can in 2022.
