Team CloudShift have certainly had a busy summer so far! From connecting with our fellow trailblazers and discussing the latest Salesforce innovations to celebrating awards and giving back to our local community, there’s never a quiet moment at CloudShift. And you know, we’ve had fun and we wouldn’t have it any other way…
When Salesforce World Tour rolled into London on Thursday 16th June, the summer certainly took off with a bang! With almost 10,000 trailblazers at ExCeL London, we were fully charged for a day of innovation and inspiration. We were delighted to once again be Platinum sponsors, and our team was out in force on our booth and at several theatre sessions with our Customer’s who shared details on their digital transformations. We were so grateful to our customers St Modwen, Woodland Group, Edwardian Hotels, Purplebricks, Grainger and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer who stood up to share their inspiring stories of digital transformation and how they reinvented their business with Salesforce technology. We hope you managed to catch some of those sessions and were as inspired as we were! After a very busy day, we hosted our exclusive World Tour Yacht Party in partnership with our friends at Salesforce, Conga, Natterbox and Introhive. With the CloudShift flag flying aboard the Sunborn Yacht Hotel, we welcomed Customers to enjoy a beautiful sunny evening overlooking the historic docklands. Check out our World Tour highlights here.
The very next day, Team CloudShift ended the week in style as we donned our finery and headed to Royal Ascot. We are firm believers that our team are the best out there and we love to take the opportunity to celebrate that together. It may have been the hottest Ascot on record but that didn’t stop the team from celebrating all the hard work and successes we’ve had this year. And we know there is so much more to come!
Finding our sea legs once again, we joined Salesforce and Partners at the Salesforce Regatta in Cowes. It was a fantastic two days that brought the Partner community together again and everyone gave it their all as the sun shone down and we got into the competitive spirit! The event truly highlighted the strong community amongst Partners and ISVs in the UK and Ireland. And to top it off, during the Partner Award dinner we were named Implementation Partner Of The Year For UKI 20/21! It was a fantastic award that we are extremely proud of. Find out more about our award win here. Our CEO was invited to receive the award from Salesforce CEO UKI Zahra Bahrololoumi at Salesforce Tower, and then we brought the trophy home and held our own CloudShift Summer Fete. Complete with space hopper races, Ping-Pong battles and some rather impressive hula hopping, it was great to come together with some of our Globant family to mark this fantastic award win.
Back in the office, we do a lot to share our knowledge across our team and upskill the younger talent joining us via our CloudShift Academy and other training initiatives. Not only is this a great way to share knowledge, celebrate project successes but it helps make sure we remain well versed in the latest updates from across the Salesforce ecosystem. Hosting our weekly enablement sessions we spotlight new Salesforce and ISV features and updates and we’re really grateful to our friends at Salesforce, Natterbox, Conga and Introhive who visited our offices and took our team through their latest innovations whilst treating us to an always-welcomed social lunch! Aside from these sessions, when the work is done we love to get the team together. From our bake off in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee, to welcoming our new starters over a coffee and a croissant at our monthly new starter breakfasts and weekly Thirsty Thursday socials, there’s always something going on at CloudShift HQ.
Taking note of what is happening around us and with June being Pride month, alongside our parent company Globant, we celebrated LGBTQIA+ awareness. From joining some great inclusivity discussions and hosting our Pride themed ‘Thirstier Thursday’, to taking in the London sites aboard the Globant Pride Bus and celebrating London pride with our Salesforce friends, we were proud to celebrate diversity and inclusivity together.
In amongst all of this, we still love to get involved with everything else going one in the Salesforce ecosystem and the wider tech industry. With Globant a partner at London Tech Week it was an excellent chance for us to share more about the wider digital services we offer and discuss the innovative ways businesses can use technology to better environmental commitment and diversify. We were also in attendance at MuleSoft CONNECT hearing some great customer success stories directly from companies about how their organisations have been transformed with MuleSoft and Salesforce Customer 360 alongside Tableau and Slack.
No matter how busy we are, we always make time to give back, through our Pledge 1% and BeKind commitment, recently we joined forces with Salesforce to volunteer at Clapham Common alongside the Lambeth Parks Team. During the day we helped to tidy up the park and renovated the fishing platforms amongst other upkeep. It was a great day and luckily the sun shone for us! We were also delighted to join Salesforce in a little bike from London to Paris too in aid of the National Autistic Society.
As you can tell, we’ve had a very busy time at CloudShift! The team are looking forward with what’s to come, with events being planned, lots of learning taking place and the rest of summer!
