Valley End Pavilion Grand Opening

CloudShift sponsor Valley End Cricket Club new pavilion

CloudShift has been a long time sponsor of Valley End Cricket Club as part of our Pledge 1% commitment, and we are proud to announce that the club is having their 125th Anniversary Celebration and Pavilion Grand Opening on Sunday 9th August. Part of our sponsorship includes a donation to help fund the development of their brand new pavilion which features full changing facilities, bar and kitchen for refreshments and plenty of social spaces for players and guests to mingle whilst enjoying the beautiful game!

David Gower, former England captain, will be officially opening the pavilion at midday on Sunday 9th August and will also be sharing a ‘Life in Cricket’ talk for all guests. Later in the day, there will be a Festival of Cricket across their three cricket pitches including matches with the famous Marylebone Cricket Club, as well as games involving the club’s Youth and Social cricket teams.

CloudShift are delighted to be sponsoring the pavilion and this celebration event and look forward to seeing lots of cricket enthusiasts on the day!

Valley End Cricket Club is at the heart of the local community with over 250 junior members, including 20 girls and a disability team (the Rascals). They play a highly competitive level of cricket with five league teams playing in the upper reaches of the Surrey Championship, with overseas players and professional coaching.
