Vlocity Joins the Salesforce Family in $1.33 Billion Deal
It was a big day for Salesforce this week, as Salesforce announced the acquisition of startup Vlocity for $1.33 billion. The announcement was shared as part of the company’s latest financial report.
Vlocity is an innovative startup, built natively on the Salesforce platform, providing industry-specific cloud and mobile software to industries such as communications, media, entertainment, insurance, financial services and many more. This vertical focus will help Salesforce bring even more tailored solutions, open up new industry capabilities and provide Customers with new tools to digitally transform their business.
