Spring will come a bit earlier in the Salesforce Ecosystem, exactly on 17th February 2020, when the new Salesforce Spring ’20 release will be launched.
At CloudShift we are super excited about all the new functionalities and features and can wait to try them all! In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of our favourites from the release notes – Check them out!

Einstein Voice Assistant

Preview Einstein Voice Assistant – Einstein voice skills let you build custom skills for your users’ most common tasks to encourage adoption and improve productivity. When a skill set is created, users will see the available skills when they open Einstein Voice Assistant in the app, once one is selected you can simply speak or type your response.

 

Simplify Logins and Profiles on Salesforce-Related Sites with Trailblazer.me

You can now access multiple Salesforce sites with one login at Trailblazer.me and manage your profile in one place. You will have access to AppExchange, Events, IdeaExchange and Trailblazer Community.

 

Empty Recycle Bin in One Click

This new release will allow users to empty the recycle bin in one single click. Before this update, you would have had to select individual items to delete or to go back to Salesforce Classic to bulk delete items.

Access Report from the Recycle Bin

In Lightning, Experience is now possible to manage your deleted reports and dashboards. It is now possible to view, restore and permanently delete them in the recycle bin without having to switch to Salesforce Classic.

App Launcher Enhancements

Salesforce have some brand new enhancements to the app launcher. Now, you can find and open apps and items quickly with the Lightning Experience.

Try New Lightning Experience Features with the Lightning Extension for Chrome

Be a trailblazer by adding the Lighting Extension to your browser. Now you can access the Lighting Extension to discover the latest features

Clone Objects and Their Related Records 

You can now clone an object with all of its related records in one simple click with the Clone with Related action. This new update will allow you to optimise business processes.

Salesforce Surveys

This new update will bring personalisation to a new level for your surveys. Your participants will be able to see pages and questions based on previous responses and the on other hand you will be able to dynamically customise questions and add images to survey pages.

Enhanced Related Lists

You can now enhance your related lists to show up to 10 columns, manage size and order of the columns, perform bulk actions and wrap text.

Set Default Values via a URL Link

You can now navigate to a record’s create page with default field values. This will allow you create custom buttons and links that pass default field values to a new record.

Set Task to Queue

This new update will let you assign tasks to a queue and share work with your team mates more efficiently. Sales reps can now assign tasks to their shared queues for individuals to pick them up and take ownership.
