CloudShift and Salesforce row for charity

CloudShift takes part in the Salesforce Rowing Challenge

Yesterday our Salesforce Consultant Tom Lamb, along with a team from Salesforce, braved the waters of the River Thames for the Salesforce Rowing Challenge to raise money for AHOY– a charity providing opportunities for disadvantaged and at-risk youths.

The challenge entailed a 50K race from Chelsea to Teddington and then all the way back! This great team effort of 4 hours of tough rowing along the Thames ended with some celebratory drinks at a riverside pub in Chelsea.

CloudShift are proud to have been a sponsor for this event and to have helped raising over £4000 for AHOY. We appreciate the charity’s endeavour to provide life changing activities for disadvantaged youths and disabled adults through the medium of Rowing & Sailing. We would like to ask for your support to make a contribution for this great cause on the donations page.

Our star Shiftie Tom Lamb starred in the ‘The Show Boaters’ a six-person boat with the amazing team at Salesforce. Tom says “I’m really proud to have participated in the rowing challenge yesterday with Salesforce – The team and I spent a tough 4 hours rowing along the Thames, but it was worth it knowing, that we made a difference for such a brilliant charity. “

Here at CloudShift we make a commitment to give back to our community and love to be involved in fun activities to raise awareness and funds for charity. If you would like to find out more, please visit our CSR page and do not hesitate to get in touch!
