Marketing Events Executive

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Marketing Events Executive to join the successful Partners, Alliances & Marketing team at CloudShift and build a great career. The role will involve shaping our events strategy for a wide range of education, hospitality and networking events which we run for our customers, prospects, partners and alliances, and staff. In the role you will help define events strategy, create an exciting and varied events schedule, manage all logistics and create engaging communications to attract the very best people each time. You’ll also track and report on our event campaigns so we measure ROI and build useful lessons so we can continually refine and improve our events schedule. It goes without saying that the person in this role will be extremely organised, creative, enthusiastic, flexible, outgoing and dedicated to creating great experiences and success at every event we run. There will be times in the year when we will run fewer events, therefore in this role you will also support with other marketing such as content and digital marketing.

Responsibilities include

  • Working with the Head of Partners & Alliances to define the events strategy
  • Creating an exciting and varied events schedule for our customers, prospects, partners and alliances, and staff
  • Ensuring we have variety through a wide range of education, hospitality and networking events
  • Taking responsibility for managing all elements of our events in a super organised manner
  • Working with venues and event partners, managing all logistics seamlessly
  • Managing and briefing all event stakeholders so everyone is informed and mobilised
  • Creating and managing all comms include email invitations
  • Creating event landing pages via our website CMS
  • Tracking and reporting on ROI and KPI’s for success
  • Support the marketing team with general duties including content and digital marketing

Who we’re looking for

  • 2+ years in Marketing role, and solid event management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organised, planning our events and activity months in advance
  • Someone willing to take responsibility and ownership of every event
  • Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of InDesign or similar
  • Knowledge of Pardot, Dotmailer or similar
  • Curious, agile, dedicated, friendly and ambitious
  • Reliable, accountable, problem-solver and a great team player
