Graduate Integration Consultant

Location: London, Greater London

Our integration team helps our customers solve their most complex and business critical connectivity and automation challenges. You’ll bring your analytical and problem-solving skills and we’ll help you acquire the knowledge of leading integration and automation tools, as well as training on communication and presentation skills needed to make a real impact on our clients’ businesses.
Working with experienced, knowledgeable and supportive colleagues, you’ll initially support in a shadowing role on client projects and ultimately work directly with clients to help them understand their challenges better, then define, implement and test solutions that enable them get the most from their systems and applications.

What will you do (in your first six months)?

  • Shadowing on projects to gain an understanding of the CloudShift Delivery Methodology and Project Lifecycle
  • Attending workshops/ meetings in a support role (e.g. note taking and output write up)
  • Delivering discrete functionality (with supervision)
  • Completing QA Testing
  • Preparing designs
  • Self-led study outside of Graduate Programme and Project Shadowing role

What skills/strengths should you have?

Communication

  • Listen, engage and contribute in meetings and discussions
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written fashion (I.e Condense notes from discussion/ meeting into clear written output)
  • Structure and present information in a relatable, understandable format to a group audience.

Collaboration

  • Understand the roles of other team members and how they relate to yours
  • Proactively seek assistance and guidance from the team

Leadership

  • Actively seek out opportunities to be coached and mentored by others

Knowledge

  • Actively seeks out information and knowledge within CloudShift

Delivery

  • Work on assigned tasks independently, reports progress accurately and raises issues when blocked

Commercial

  • Adhere to administrative compliance (e.g. timesheets)

Technical

  • Some experience of application development or similar technical literacy (may be through education, hobby or extra-curricular activities).
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols (HTTP, REST, XML etc.) would be an advantage but not mandatory
