Technical Lead
CloudShift is a leading Salesforce Summit Partner and we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to join our fast-paced and established technical team. The successful candidate will hit the ground running, bringing their knowledge, experience and great teamwork ethos to support us in delivering more exceptional projects for our Customers. Target: 80% Billable; with a role focused on providing the correct technical leadership for Projects, as well as providing support & guidance to other members of the Growth Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical expertise – Lead the design & delivery of integration workstreams by providing instructions/guidelines to the technical development team
- Solution design – help design business processes including automations based on Salesforce Platform
- Configuration – Develop business requirements and functional designs
- Build – Build integration jobs based on instructions and guidelines, and build /implement web-based user interfaces
- Demo – Demonstrate the solution to Customers at regular intervals
- Code share – Facilitate code sharing and control by regularly submitting code to concurrent version system repository
- Mentoring – Help grow future talent by coaching and providing development opportunities
- Testing – Support unit testing, system testing and acceptance testing activities
- Review – Review the build work of the team and help them develop to CloudShift’s standards
- Travel – A willingness to travel as and when required
Communication
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written fashion
- Explain technical concepts to a non technical audience

Presentation
- Leads the design of client facing presentations and delegates ownership of elements of the presentation to team members
- Able to present in an organised, coherent fashion and adapt their presentation style to their audience
- Able to present in client facing sessions such as Design Authorities, providing clear rationale for design decisions and responding to client challenge
- Able to respond to feedback and tailor messaging
Collaboration
- Establishes a collaborative environment with the team and client
Leadership
- Is a role model for junior team members and provides mentorship
- Defines roles and responsibilities for the team and enables others to take responsibility for tasks and activities
- Delegates effectively, quality assuring the configuration completed by the team
Knowledge
- Leads CloudShift internal initiatives such as enablement sessions, the graduate programme and mentoring
Delivery
- Takes accountability for the overall solution design and build of complex engagements
- Actively plans design, build and test activities, working with the Project Lead to identify and mitigate risk to the project
- Confident in Agile delivery
Commercial
- Adheres to administrative compliance (e.g. timesheets)
- Leads the identification and scoping/ estimation of additional scope and activities
- Supports the Solutions team with the solutioning and estimation of new opportunities and pre-sales discussions with prospective clients
Technical
- Approximately 6+ years of experience
- Able to produce clear technical design documentation
- Confident in presenting designs in client forums (e.g. Design Authorities)
- Recommended Certs: All certifications of Senior Technical Consultant role + Additional Architecture Certifications (e.g. Data Architecture and Management, Sharing and Visibility etc.)
