Salesforce Trailhead is empowering you to work remotely

Blaze your trail working remotely

With more of us working remotely from home, some of us now have newfound time to dedicate to training and upskilling. A great way of doing this is through Trailhead – the Salesforce learning platform. The platform not only covers the basics of their product but also offers educational content in terms of leadership, career development, well-being, collaboration and much more. We’d like to share with you how to get yourself and your team started on your Trailhead journey and also direct you to some topics we think might help whilst you work from home.

What is Trailhead?

Trailhead is a learning platform that combines bite-sized content with a gamified learning experience. With Trailhead you can learn new skills and earn points that will unlock badges and levels to work your way up the Trailhead ranks and eventually reach ‘Ranger’ status.

Trailhead can be accessed from any device through your account. You don’t have to be a Salesforce Customer to sign up and the platform is free to use and is designed around what users should learn, including soft skills. You can even learn using their handy app ‘Trailhead GO’. Salesforce constantly publishes updates, so there is always something new to learn along your personalised journey.

Start your Trailhead journey

To get started, simply visit Trailhead and set up your profile in the Salesforce Trailblazer Community. You can then browse the trails and use the Trailhead search features to quickly find what is most relevant for you. You can filter search results by topic, job role, content type, product, or level of experience. You can also create your own trailmixes so you have a personalised learning paths!

Useful content for remote working

Salesforce has a wealth of content to help you and your team to adjust to the new normal. A new Trailmix has been now released on Trailhead covering topics such as what actions Salesforce is taking to tackle the crisis, how to set up your home office, be productive, stay motivated while working from home and communicate with your team.

We recommend you check out how to enhance employee wellbeing with Camp B-Well – a new trail to discover Salesforce-tested strategies for enhancing the well-being of your team or company. On this Trailmix you will find out new ways to improve your Virtual Collaboration, optimise communication with your team whilst working from home and discover tips and tricks to organise your workload.

Lastly, during these challenging times, it’s important not to overlook our mental and physical well-being. You will find a series of modules focusing on wellness, such as the power of movement and the value of sleep. Learn how to integrate movement into your day to keep your body and mind healthy and get advice on how to achieve better, more restorative sleep.
