CloudShift’s top 10 moments in 2019
As 2019 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the busy year that we had. Aside from delivering many great Salesforce implementations, CloudShift had a busy year growing our talented team and attending and organizing myriads of events and charity initiatives.
Take a look at our top 10 2019 moments to find out what we have been up to this year.
1. Ladies who Lead
We set up our Ladies Who Lead group to encourage our fellow CloudShift colleagues to share the secrets of their success and empowering one another to reach their full potential. The group shared experiences and secrets of being a successful woman in the male-dominated tech industry and held a Ladies Who Lead breakfast alongside Salesforce with a series of talks, panel discussions and workshops.
2. White-collar boxing for charity
Three brave members of our team participated in the annual Salesforce Partner White Collar Boxing to raise money for Sports Traider, a charity that provides sports facilities and equipment for children who are struggling with financial hardship or disability. They all took part in a gruelling and rigorous training programme for such a brilliant cause and shared all the insight from their experience in our previous blog.
3. Welcome World Tour London
The biggest Salesforce UK’s event was back in May with Salesforce World Tour London! Over 10,000 people participated in the event at the ExCeL area. CloudShift was a platinum sponsor and we enjoyed immensely the keynotes, informative sessions and chatting to people in the Salesforce ecosystem. We also managed to find time to throw our party on the Sunborn Yacht! Which gave everyone the chance to unwind after a busy day with some food & drink, stunning views and live music! It won’t be long until World Tour 2020 is upon us and we can’t wait!
4. The CloudShift Classic
In June we held the CloudShift Classic golf weekend at the Grove which is one of the UK’s most beautiful and prestigious golf courses. We hosted over 50 people and everyone had an amazing time, catching up and playing golf in this beautiful location. Read more about it here.
On the 3rd of July, we were privileged to be one of a few selected Salesforce Partners to sponsor the CBU Successtival! We loved the opportunity to showcase who we are and what makes CloudShift so great to an audience of Salesforce employees! We also held an after-party to finish off the day off in style!
6. Our brand new CloudShift home
At the end of August, we said goodbye to our WeWork office and embarked on a new adventure, which was our very own flagship office at Fora. It is a wonderful space, fully branded and built with one thing in mind, to cater to our rapid growth and the wave of fresh talent joining the business. The space suits our agile working style perfectly and what’s even better is that we had the opportunity to move in with CloudShift and Salesforce Customer, read more about our office move here.
7. CloudShift Annual Property Event
On the 19th of September, we help the annual CloudShift and Salesforce Property Event at the IET London Savoy Place. It was an amazing location for a brilliant night with beautiful river views, over 120 people in attendance and a panel discussion from our Customers Fora and Tipi. The evening was extremely insightful and we have collated a few key takeaways from the event, that you can find here.
8. MuleSoft CONNECT
In October we had a chance to sponsor MuleSoft CONNECT London! We are a certified MuleSoft partner and could let the opportunity get away to discuss all things MuleSoft and how we can help you transform your business through API integration. We also enjoyed hearing about all the new MuleSoft developments that are increasing the power of the integration technology and last but not least, our team was caught on camera in a MuleSoft interview, check it out here.
9. Dreamforce 2019
We had a few busy months with events but never too busy for Dreamforce. In November our senior team flew to San Francisco for the world’s largest tech conference: Dreamforce. It was four jam-packed days of discovering all the new updates and product announcements that are coming to the Salesforce Ecosystem. The team also had the opportunity to hear from former President Barack Obama (read more here) and attend the Salesforce Equality Festival (read more here).
10. Santa Run
To celebrate Christmas, Team CloudShift joined forces with Salesforce in their annual Santa Run and ran a 5km race across central London to raise money for NSPCC and Homelesslink. Our team finished the race in under 30 minutes in the pouring rain while having lots of fun along the way. Read more about it our latest blog.
