Are you ready to find out our top Salesforce updates? Let’s dive in.

A growing ecosystem

Salesforce’s continued growth has been fuelled by strategic acquisitions that have enhanced their portfolio, such as the newest additions to the Salesforce family: Tableau and ClickSoftware.
In late July the world #1 CRM and the #1 analytics platform have announced that they would accelerate their customers’ digital transformation together. With Tableau, Salesforce is set to be a bigger player in driving digital transformation thanks to the analytics’ platform capabilities to tap into business-wide data, drive smarter decisions and create connected customer experiences.

Customer connectivity is a huge driver for innovation and that’s why Salesforce’s acquisition of ClickSoftware comes as no surprise. ClickSoftware is a leader in field service management solutions and this latest acquisition will strengthen Salesforce Service Cloud offering. With the combined capabilities of Field Service Lightning and ClickSoftware, Salesforce will be positioned to lead the way to the future of field service and connected experiences (read more about it on our blog).

Driving innovation

Salesforce has always been a pioneer for innovation. This fact is exemplified in the latest Salesforce product releases, such as Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and Sustainability Cloud.

Manufacturing clients can expect a platform to help them deliver more transparent and predictable business outcomes. The level of visibility achieved will improve collaboration across sales and operations and empowered their decision making with account-based forecasting solutions.

All Salesforce solutions aim to bring teams together and that is exactly the case for Consumer Goods Cloud. The Cloud will create closer relationships between stores and field representatives by accurate inventory management, accurate pricing and promotion and building time for customers to engage and build relation relationships with retail channel partners.

Last but not least, Sustainability Cloud marks the company’s latest effort to curb carbon emissions and take effective climate action. As mentioned before, Salesforce has been the headline sponsor for Climate Week NY where this latest product was introduced to help businesses manage and calculate their carbon footprint and take effective steps for climate action (find out more in our blog).

Most of these new products are available in the latest Winter ’20 release. The seasonal update of the Salesforce’s offering includes many new exciting features and additions, such as a brand new mobile app, Salesforce CMS, single customer view capabilities and many more. The Dreamforce experience

As you may know, the most important date in Salesforce’s calendar is Dreamforce and this year CloudShift will be there! Dreamforce will take place from the 19th to 22nd of November in San Francisco and the city will be taken over by thousands of trailblazers for a week-long event that will offer all trailblazers sessions, certifications opportunities, parties and networking opportunities.

Only half the sessions have been announced yet, but the event pass is already sold out! However, you can still register with a code or alternately get the free expo pass here, which will give you select access on Thursday and Friday at Dreamforce. With this pass you will have the opportunity to learn more about Salesforce, meet experts and hundreds of partners at the Customer Success Expo.

Dreamforce is not, however, the only way to learn more about Salesforce and its products, in fact, Salesforce makes available a series of webinars on their website you can register your interest in. Thought leadership

This week Salesforce’s founder Marc Benioff released his new book “Trailblazer: The Power of Business as the Greatest Platform for Change “ which is available online here.
In the book, Benioff describes the need for a new kind of capitalism where purpose and profits are aligned, and business and social objectives are intertwined and where giving back is no longer a competitive advantage or a PR exercise but a priority for all businesses. “Capitalism as we know it is dead,” said Benioff. “We all need capitalism that is more fair, more equitable, and more sustainable.”
The book stresses the importance of a transparent and trusting relationship with one’s customers and that businesses nowadays should weave social action and business success together to create lasting foundations for a successful company.

Salesforce is continuing to grow and innovate according to a very successful formula that marries a company’s mission and ethos with technology and customer-driven innovation.
