Salesforce enhance Service Cloud with the acquisition of ClickSoftware

ClickSoftware, a leader in field service management solutions, is joining the Salesforce family! This addition will bring added value to the Salesforce Service Cloud offering and enhance its leadership as the #1 service platform.

In August, the global CRM leader announced their desire to further develop their service offering with the acquisition of ClickSoftware, an agreement has now been finalised with ClickSoftware making them the latest addition to the Salesforce ecosystem.

ClickSoftware’s core offering is helping businesses to schedule and optimise fieldwork in an intelligent manner. This will complement Salesforce product, Field Service Lightning. The platform enables companies to leverage the latest technology to have a single view of their entire service workforce in one place. The product revolutionised customer service by allowing business to efficiently schedule, automate field actions and give customers real-time updates.

Now, with the acquisition of ClickSoftware, Salesforce will be able to bring forward the latest technology and lead innovation in the marketplace. The advancement of technology has meant that customers are expecting much more from businesses; they want to have an engaging, fast and tailored experience with a brand throughout their customer journey. Businesses need to embrace this and evolve with industry demand by developing a cutting edge approach to customer service in order to stay one step ahead from their competitors.
